Kelsey marched right along, already having deciding to have her new Ponyta out of his Pokeball. After all, what horse would want to be locked up all day when you have a route to travel? Spitfire wasn't complaining at all, though. Even though all he wanted to do was take off, and feel the wind through his mane. He wanted to feel his muscles work flawlessly underneath him, his mighty hooves beating the ground with his racing heart.

But, he couldn't always get his way. And that wasn't just about to happen.

But, Kelsey seemed very happy, as she always did, with a grin on her cheerful - yet somewhat dirty - features. Nothing could convince her otherwise that this was going to be one hell of an adventure. She was ready to make her mark on the world! She was so very excited, and couldn't wait to try out her skills at a Pokemon Gym.

Although, she'd have to raise her Pokemon up a lot, even though she battled a lot on her father's ship with her crew mates. She would always borrow someone's Pokemon while the others sat back and made bets. She mostly battled with Pokemon to help raise their levels, and even caused a few to evolve! Oh, how exciting! Having her own Pokemon evolve would be one experience she wouldn't want to miss!

So, now, excited to get training, Kelsey kicked up her pace and began keeping an eye out for wild Pokemon to battle.
